COWBOY
SHOOT Cowboy Action Shooting is the fastest growing shooting sport in the world. It was the brain child of a couple of California shooters looking to have fun shooting old western style firearms. That was the beginning of the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS). Today Sass is international with clubs all over the world. The members dress in middle and late 1800 style cloths and shoot single action revolvers, double barrel shotguns and lever action rifles. The Brookfield Conservation Club, 1953 Sharon-Hogue Road Brookfield township, Ohio has a group called the Shenango River Rats who are a SASS club. The Summer Schedule of 2008 will start in May and run through October. Shooting days are the second Saturday and the forth Sunday of each month. Coffee is at 9:00 AM and the Shooting starts at 10:00 AM. . For more information call Shenango Joe at 330-782-0958 or Dakota Bert at 724-306-1134.
